My Profile

I will start by introducing myself first. My name is Ahmed Mubarak Al Zaabi. I was born on the fourth of January in 1983. I was born in the United Arab Emirates the capital city Abu Dhabi, which is one of the fastest developed cities in the world.

In my case after Secondary school I joined ATI (ADNOC Training Institute). I studied in ATI for three years. My major was Instrument Technician. When I graduated and joined ZADCO, the Company hired me one of the offshore fields. I was excited about my first working day. When I arrived on the platform I was shocked. I was just looking at field map. It was a huge field which was 30 KM long and 25 KM wide!!. We even use boats or helicopter for my transportation every day.

It has been five years since I start working for ZADCO Company as an offshore instrument technician. I wanted to develop myself so I requested study leave from the company to join ADMC College to continue my studies but in a different major. Cause Company requires me to be a Planning Engineer. One day I want to have a Bachelor in Engineering or beyond that.

This blog project is one of the tasks I have been asked to do for English 174. Blog project is (50%) divided into 3 parts. (30%) will be marked on posts about global warming. (10%) will be marked on additional postings and (10%) will be on formatting. The other (50%) of the mark will be on the oral presentation (10%), (30%) on reading summaries, and the rest of (10%) will be from the vocabulary wordlist.

Solar Power In UAE

United Arab Emirate started new industries to produce large scale of solar power panels. These changes made biggest impact on the world of solar power. It affected three strong points environmental benefits, creating jobs and the effects in UAE.

Here it can reduce the uses of fossil fuel to produce electricity. It can produce thermal heat energy or it can capture rain water and it’s good for environment. It also can create many different jobs in the industry itself. Solar power helps to develop UAE by using it in bus shelters powering Dubai Island. This all solar power are produced in RAK which will it help its economy.

These are my three points of view that will make UAE have bright future.
